Greetings, Eaters and Readers!
It’s summer … it’s college baseball’s “greatest show on dirt.” And it’s here – the College World Series. For a few weeks every summer, Omaha is THE center of the baseball world. If you’re a frequent CWS attendee, you probably already have your culinary MVPs, but maybe it’s time to rework the line up. Or maybe you’re here for the first time and need to get your game plan together. We humbly (cough cough – supported by a decade of research – cough cough) offer our recommendations.
Our list is a blend of noteworthy Greater Omaha spots AND places we’ve personally visited and loved. We’re not saying it’s a complete list (and yes, we’re anticipating the readers and eaters of Omaha telling us what we missed!) but we think it’s a solid start. If we’ve blogged about it – we’ve added the link to our review. Additionally, we’ve linked directly to the establishment’s main site or page.
All drive times listed are related to distance from Charles Schwab Field.
Questions on anything? Find us on Facebook or Instagram and we’d be happy to chat.

Cheers!

π 8th Inning: Best Burgers
We’re pretty sure you shouldn’t leave Omaha without having a real, honest-to-goodness great burger. And if we allowed it, we’re also pretty sure this particular inning could be ENDLESS; most places around here take their burger creations very seriously. But we think these are worth of being in your starting line up.
Dinkers (cash only) – Local neighborhood watering hole right off the interstate serving up what they claim to be Omaha’s Best Burger. We haven’t personally tried every burger in Omaha, but Dinkers ranks pretty high up there if you want that no-frills, greasy bar burger.
